I'm not sure if they really believe this or they just say it to put on a show to keep their funding.
I think there are still some true believers in law enforcement, esp in the more rural areas. But mostly I don't think they really believe. I don't meet many people, even prosecutors or cops, who are gung ho about weed.

What a stupid as cop.....before school aged students hit the streets. Yeah I'm sure this 42 yr old mexican has a line of elementary and middle schoolers buying some swag at his house. "Mom, need a ride to amigo's, gotta reup on that bobby brown. frick 4th grade is stressful!"

Yeah, but Aunt Velma from Watson probably rubbed on her saggy 70 year old titties when she read this in the LP news.
Then she went and wrote a letter to the call and comment section thanking the cops for their hard work and asking for someone to pray to keep the minorities from ruining her great parish with these horrible drugs.
