Pretty thin veil of bullshite you got there, guy.

You got me. I guess they were all "Americans"; some were Rebels though that didn't want to be real Americans any longer.

Lee was also strongly against secession.
BTW, wanna ban bet that Mitch doesn't even run for the 2nd Dist. seat?

Honestly, the idea of all of this will be out of my head by then. Just seems a logical step if he stays in politics.
Also, Lee would have probably sided with Landrieu

Most soldiers don't desire honors like that.
But we did honor him, and he deserves it. He certainly doesn't deserve to have his likeness removed by a dumpy little bald count who probably got the idea in a coke-fueled delusion of grandeur, received while being browbeaten and having his prostate milked by his little black side piece.

Mitch is unpopular with a lot of people. His actual voting base isn't one.
Would this be the same MENSA collective that re--elected C. Ray after he completely shite the bed in the aftermath of Katrina? In fact, choosing him over Mitch?
Yeah, that worked great for them.

Who is his little black side piece?
Everyone seems to know and no one is telling.
If it were true why would this info not be out? What better opportunity then right now to destroy this fricker?
What possible reason is there for so many people to know, but no one to name a name? It obviously isn't a secret.

Are you just copying and pasting your posts now?

There was a whole thread on it the other day. Search it.

Really? THAT'S the best evasive tactic that you have? You'd never cut it in politics.
Posted on 5/12/17 at 2:55 am to blueboy
I read the thread.
What I am asking is why do people pretend to be in the know about this?
If he has so many enemies right now why isn't this information out there?
Is it "the media" that won't publish it?

I was really asking. I haven't seen the word 'MENSA' used in a decade and it seems to have been brought up twice in this conversation.

Do you sarcasm, bro?
Bottom line...for a while now, New Orleans has had a bad racial problem...and a great deal of it comes from the black community. There's been a longstanding feeling of "This is OUR city now. Don't like it...leave." Lo and behold, many people took them up on that offer and suddenly "white flight" was ruining the city, according to them. Go back a couple of decades and look into the case of Miriam Waltzer. She was a white, Jewish judge that had an incredible civil rights record. (So much so that she was honored by folks like Jesse Jackson and the NAACP) Yet, when she DARED to run for the 4th Circuit Court of Appeal seat vacated by Revius Ortique, Jr, in 1994...there was this huge indignant cry of....that seat was created for a black person, so a black person should have it. (I must have missed where the US Constitution specifically states that, so if anyone could find that for me, that would be great.) Eventually, then-mayor Marc Morial (one of the most virulent racist and corrupt Mayors in the sordid modern history of New Orleans City Hall) forced her out of the race, despite the fact that Waltzer had gotten significantly more primary votes than Bernette Johnson, who Morial pushed in. You can read about that HERE
Ultimately, choosing racial pandering over what's best for the community usually takes you down a bad path...one that New Orleans continues to pay for. A city that has potential to be exceptional (especially due to an incredible food / entertainment scene) continues to drift instead into becoming the next Detroit or Jackson, MS.

NOLA would be a great city if not for all the blacks on welfare
