Forever alone and childless. I hope your slim waist and shaved belly give you comfort when you are in a nursing home asking for organic meals.

I know these aren't really new, but is this necessary? Kids even wearing caps and gowns and shite. If our fricking society gets any more "hey look at me" it may actually implode. I welcome it now.

Our weekly "GRADUATIONS IN KINDERGARTEN!!! FOR REAL?!?!?" thread is slotted for Thursdays.

Please make a note for future reference.

If graduating kindergarten is an accomplishment worthy of a ceremony then I should get a certificate when I have a solid BM.

Oh, this thread again.

My daughter has a pre-K graduation ceremony at her daycare next week. It's a cute ceremony and an opportunity to take some photos and make the kids feel good about themselves, regardless of actual accomplishments or perceived effort. You know, because they're 4 years old.

Why is the fact that some couples choose to not have children so hard for you to fathom?

Right, so because I don't approve of graduations from fricking kindergarten that makes me a stick in the mud. Solid argument.

If kindergarten gets your jimmies rustled this easily I bet you kick the shite out of your dog when you lose at world of Warcraft.

Pointless? Maybe. Seeing the kid happy, fun. A grown man bitching about it on a message board, sad.

are y'all this dense? No, 6 year olds aren't taking on calculus.

But they're fricking 6. The day is less about "do you know the difference between red and blue" and more about "hey, you did what the adult asked you to do, did your homework assignments, and now as a reward you get a cupcake party and your parents get to clap for you and make you feel good". I know it's insane to think about, but things like that JUST MIGHT stick with a child's still forming brain and instill the mindset in them that when they work to complete tasks they've been assigned by superiors it will lead to good things.

Some people will bitch about anything I guess. It's not hard to graduate from a shite ton of colleges either yet they still hold graduations, should we do away with all those?

It isn't. At all. But the choice to comment on a thread about what parents and their children do by somebody that decided to not have children is hard to fathom.

I had a kindergarten graduation in 1986 - so it's been a thing.
