Yep, some people don't realize the amazing ability to piss someone off by just sitting there stone faced.
OP wanted the cop to get pissed. That is why he laughed, well that tends to backfire more so than not.
The best thing he could've done was sit there 100% stone faced, not answer one question. This would've solved the need for the OP to piss off the cops and would've aided in his ability to get the charges dropped by his attorney.
