Based on his story, no he didn't. The cop was a dickbag that should be fired.
However, he wouldn't have been arrested had he just gone inside of his house instead of staring down the cop.

It does absolutely no good and all harm to be anything other than respectful to a cop. I get it, there are douches in the profession who think they are there to arrest any and everybody who challenges them.
As an outsider reading your story, you probably could have refrained from telling him "frick you". That's where you went wrong. No matter how angry you are, right or wrong, that reaction won't do you any good under any circumstance. And I agree with you should have just bought your shite and went home. Sitting for 15 mins looks REAL suspicious.

Here is my problem with this line of thinking. I'm not going to be intimidated or harassed by anyone, including cops. Waiting on me at a gas station and following me home and watching my house is just intimidation. If a cop is going to sit and watch my house when I have done nothing wrong, then I'm going to watch him. Sure going to jail was stupid, but badge or no badge I'm not gonna let anyone talk down to me like I'm an idiot and tell me I'm paranoid and imagined everything.

Im all for not letting cops intimidate or bully people around. But this situation was pretty harmless and easily avoidable. At the end of the day they are the police and you are not. 99 times out of 100 they are going to win this situation like yours

Just for clarification, I never had any contact with the two cops in the suv that were waiting for me at the gas station and followed me home. The sheriff I asked to be sent over so that I could make a compliant was the hot head. He pretty much called me a liar and paranoid from the get go. That's why i told him I was done talking with him and he was wasting my time. He kept on running his mouth about being paranoid and I finally said frick you while I was getting my shite out of my car.

I have zero issue with that. But the person who just did the same is just getting out of jail...

Such a badass. By being such a badass he now has a criminal record, and will probably only be able to get a job at that same convenience store he bought that coke.

This was considered a threat if you would have said to frick off you would have been OK. I once told a cop to suck my motherfricking dick and found myself in jail charged with making a terrorist threat under a fifty-four thousand dollar bond nevermind that he had just called me a fricking liar
