I think vaccines are great though I have some concerns with the administration schedule. I feel it is a one size fits all and is too aggressive. My pediatrician agrees. We modified based on our children's health and other risk factors.

I have ethical concerns with aborted fetuses in vaccines. The 2 main ones that I know have them are MMR (Rubella has the aborted fetus) and Chicken Pox. It really pisses me off that we cannot get a measles and mumps stand alone vaccine bc those are much more of a concern than rubella. The drug companies don't allow that option for cost reasons.

As far as chicken pox goes, the disease really is just an inconvenience. Parents 20 yrs ago routinely exposed their kids to it so they could get it out the way. In addition to the aborted fetus thing, there are some rare side effects that are concerning.
