Isn't an accusation of "bragging" just an admission of your inferiority?

For instance, all of the facts I mention in the course of conversation here are perfectly acceptable amongst my peers. If I'm sitting amongst a group of doctors and speak about my Jag, one of my peers may respond in kind with a comment about his Benz or Audi. If I'm amongst a group of car enthusiasts and mention how my lap times were faster in my Vette than they were in my 911 Carrera, they may simply nod and respond how their best lap was run in their R8.
One can even speak in this manner amongst those who are a rung down the socioeconomic ladder, because those people have a reasonable aspiration - even expectation - that in a few years, or after their next promotion, the same will be within their reach. Reactions may border on admiration or mild envy, but will never approach pure jealousy. If anything, it will inspire them to work just a little harder.
Yet one has to constantly walk on eggshells around here because of the insistent whining, crying, and other displays of jealous rage. It's only considered a "brag" if you KNOW it is forever beyond your reach. Otherwise, you'd be happy for others regarding their success. Accusing successful people of bragging is just admitting - nay, broadcasting - that you are vastly inferior.
I'm making a motion for the establishment of an "OT Poors Board" - too often it feels like I'm walking in a Walmart around here. Let the ballers mingle in peace. Do I hear a second?

Isn't bragging just an admission of a small penis?

But you're not a doctor, you're a dentist.

My car is better than yours.

It's bragging when you use it purely to improve public perception like an attention whore.
Kinda like you do here

The thing is that no one believes a lot of what you post. Also, bragging is more of an admission of inferiority than anything else. It's like you are looking for acceptance to make up for all of your other shortcomings.
You assume you are in the top 1% of posters here because you make $100K off of disability every year. There are some very well off people that post here yet they don't have such shortcomings as you and merely use this board for entertainment so they don't share their personal details.
In short, nothing you have shared is worth being jealous over but it is fun to make fun of you over because it seems to really bother you on a personal level due to your own insecurity and inadequacies.

nothing you speak of is even close to being out of my reach, but you're a sad little braggart.

But what I'm not inferior?
I have a friend who brags about how much he makes to me. Now, he doesn't know and I'll never tell him that I make more money than he does. So that doesn't make me inferior.

He's a dentist. They live to be inferior.

That's so nice of them to still include you in their club. What do they say when you mention how much money you're making off of disability?

What does inferior mean to you? This seems like an insecurity thread

Actually he's not even a dentist. He is unable to perform any longer and is "disabled" now. This is according to his own posts here.

And 100k doesn't even come close to sniffing top 1% of the general population. TD is probably skewed higher than the national average.
