It has some pros no doubt, but unfortunately has one of the highest poverty rates (42%) in the country.

I once had a fling with a ginger from the cro. She was everything a man could want in a redhead.

Have you been in the last 20 yrs? The entire town is a rundown ghetto and seems to get worse every time I have to pass through.

Where else have you been in Louisiana? Pretty much everywhere is like that outside of a few small enclaves.

Agreed - spend a lot of time in that area. Just have to get used to it. Country folks

Crawfish house was pretty meh the other night, but it wasn’t terrible.

I’m pretty sure they don’t boil in seasoned water and just dump it on the crawfish instead.

Evangeline Downs is alright, really wish they had tables.

Never heard of these fried chicken places, will go check them out when we go back up in a couple weeks.

I'm telling you Joe's is the ticket. Joe's is cooked fresh to order. Mama's cooks big batches so the chicken sits. Mama's also doesn't have any seasoning. It's not bad but Joe's is on another level. Kinda like a more spicy Popeyes back when Popeyes was good but fresh out of the grease. I've never had better fried chicken. Their onion rings are very good also.
