If it still exists, go to a place called "the Spot". Thank me later.

You will definitly have to go south to Lafayette. Slopelousas is a complete rundown ghetto.

Only thing worthwhile is the food......
Mama’s Fried Chicken for all your greasy food desires
Papa’s Crawfish House for seafood & such
Steamboat Wharehouse restaurant about 15 miles away in Washington
Drive, about 20 minutes, to Ville Platte & load up on smoked & specialty meats

I love going to Evangeline Downs, drinking some beer, and betting on the races. Great way to spend a beautiful evening in South Louisiana.

I also love the Pecan Brochette at Soileau’s Dinner Club.

Mama's chicken is legit as is their fried liver.

The St. Landry tourist tourist center is a pretty cool building. Located on I49 just north of Opelousas.

Orphan Train as mentioned.

Other than that, keep your doors locked and stay indoors at night.

Pizza shack is a must
Right next door is chips, your best bet to grab a whore.

Next would be evangeline downs, races start on Wednesday.

Before you leave order some fried chicken from Joe's sandwich shop.

Also check out Ray's boudin on hwy 182. Just get the link of boudin, the boudin balls suck. Go to Billy's for boudin balls.

That's all I got.

Mama’s fried chicken is great. The dirty rice is to die for.

Trust me, Mama's doesn't hold a candle to Joe's fried chicken.

I agree with this. Had some hot looking OC ladies when we used to play against them at their place.
