When starting diets in the past, some people claim eating less or more small meals per day will shrink your stomach and you'll lose weight.

Is it really a thing, or are our bodies just learning to sustain off of less food, and thus our appetites changes?

Lower the carbs, increase the protein and saturated fat. Abs are made in the kitchen not the gym. You have to lower the overall body fat. That area is like the deep end of the pool. Last to drain, first to fill

Some peopel are also idiots. Small meals will not shrink you stomach. Your fat cells decrease in size while eating the same foods but less of it. However, if you change the diet, it has be proven that cells go through apoptosis and fat cells go away altogether.

I changed what I ate and how often to more Whole Foods, 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. Cut out bread mostly and we still splurge on weekends or hear and there. All I changed was food and I have lost 30lbs since January. I also can't eat as much as I used to at a meal...shrunk or whathave you...I'm full sooner.

You are fuller "sooner" because the quality of food satiates you faster...which is awesome as you feel better. I thought you mentioned whole 30 because I like that start point - but whole foods is also a great place to be. I go a bit more extreme because I like being a rebel at near zero carbs, but that is me. Just stay away from the f'ing damn center of a grocery store and shop the sides can equal success.

One time I ate fifty eggs. Then I escaped, was caught and had to spend a while in the box. My stomach shrank during this time. After I got out, everyone helped me eat my serving of rice so I wouldn't get in trouble for wasting food.

Yes you can.

Mine shrunk. Couldn't eat for a week followed by 3 weeks of broth. I get so full so fast now. I eat a lot more often as well.

Of course, I had my jaw wired shut for 6.5 weeks. Towards the end a single boost shake was a lot for me to drink. Once I got them off, I went and got my day dream meal and could only eat a few bites. Of course these were different circumstances than just a normal diet

Do they still do this? Seems somewhat archaic. Is there not a better way?

I switched to a mostly lean meat and green vegetable diet in late January. Eat chicken, center cut port chops, and steak. I eat as few carbs as possible (probably keep it below 10 grams a day). Down 30 pounds with little to no exercise and still drink beer and have a food cheat day on the weekend.

Depends on the surgeon and where the fracture is located. If we are able to put the rigid titanium plates across the fracture well we often don't have to leave them wired shut. If. It well, sometimes have to wire shut for a couple of weeks. For certain types of fractures you're pretty much forced to only wire the jaw shut for 4-6weeks.

For some surgeons they treat the majority of fractures just by wiring the jaw shut... It take 30mins to wire a jaw shut...were as a difficult jaw fracture can be 2-3hours to fix via plating etc.
