I am not going to go too far into this, but if you have to ask this question, you likely have never been exposed to the world of interviewing and hiring empolyees...

Unless you can win a lawsuit by claiming you are being discriminated against on the basis of race (by being white), then yes they will get away with it.

Depends on how much you want to keep your job. Good luck.

There's a legitimate reason for having a multicultural faculty that should be considered. Students tend to seek out mentors who are from similar backgrounds and absent role models from different backgrounds you end up with less student achievement from unrepresented backgrounds. It isn't always about race FWIW, in cases where there are not enough male teachers it may be worth it to pay a male teacher more than a female teacher because you may stand a better chance of rescuing male students who are at risk of dropping out of school and worse.

He pissed me off. He was an arrogant old frick and he offended someone I am close to, as well as her family.

Had she not been in the room when he made the comments, I would have just chalked him up as an a-hole.

Sure it is. For a long time men were paid more than women for the same job.

"Blacks"...is this the 40s?
Pretty sure they wouldn't call them "Blacks" back in the 40s.

Idk about paying more but minorities getting jobs per more qualified crackers is nothing new. I know straight from multiple (3 ) HR/personnel professionals that they had to take a guy bc they needed more minorities.

Can't really bitch they're keeping a minimum of minority employees then that means the company has a larger percentage of whites. It only sucks if you're the one missing out.

Congratulations on the black skin... Here's $11,400.00.

That's so fricking stupid, I don't know where to even begin.
