Best part of downtown hammond is you can always park and walk to quite bars and restaurants. Really good area for a single person.

Hammond is a quaint little town. I suggest that you get out of the hood (which all towns have), and upgrade your client base / career that is bringing you to the hoods of La cities. In other words, if your career path is taking you into the gutters of nice towns -- you need a new career sir.
