In library, and they are always here in groups battling in the trenches. All kinds of dudes, asians, white dude in baseball caps, girls, black dudes, etc. What other majors do you think has the most camaraderie?

STEM majors are literally the only job market that's hiring kids fresh out of college.

Outside of, maybe, business.

I wasn't one but hung out with the engineering majors and they all made solid friendships with each other over the course of the years.

They're just being friends so they get copies of old tests, they're not studying. Future engineering managers is who you're looking at.

They are not personable and are therefore forced to hang out with others like them. They have the personality of CPA's but not the rodent-like appearance.

It's all fun and games until you're competing for an internship.

No, because engineers rarely have time to do anything but study. The most camaraderie is found in business and liberal arts since they have lots of time to go out and get plastered every weekend together.

For a graduate level degree, law students end up making a ton of friends since they have at least 2 events with alcohol every week and are forced to study together constantly the last 6 weeks of the semester.

Spend some time in the BEC and you'll swear that everyone in there went to high school together

But you don't necessarily have to party with people in your major. Engineers all study with their peers.

Any hard major is easy to make friends. At Georgia, finance was the hardest major to get into (you had to have a 3.5) so that was also a good place to have friends.

At LSU you'll generally go from sophomore to senior year with the same 40-140 people while taking the same class since there is only 1 section. You're all going through the struggle together and end up hanging out since everyone has similar schedules and commitments.
