Why would anyone spend the extra money for an Acura? The new accord looks like one

Accords have always been pretty good cars. They seem to get better every year too.
Obviously not OT baller cars, but they do their job well and are reliable.

Looks pretty awesome. I've driven a 2001 Accord and drive a 2011 right now, both have been great.

Well shite. Makes my 2014 look dated already. Would never expect this level of updates in the mid model refresh.
The article is a bit inaccurate though. A lot of those features were available now from 2013. LED headlights, CVT, etc.

No they aren't and the quality is very similar or the same. For a long time Acura raided the Honda parts bin for most of their parts... I'm assuming that they still do this.

Out of the top 20 autos to make 200k miles on the average only one car made the list, the Honda accord. The rest were expensive trucks and suvs.

Bulletproof reliability, excellent resale. The new body style looks a lot more like an Acura, IMO.
