Politicians should be our best and brightest for the greater good of all but apparently we the voter got it backwards. Further, this didn't just happen overnight.

I have spent some time with Clay and he is good dude inside. Whether or not he should represent LA is an opinion we all get to make.

balanced if your idea is seeing both sides...

1. Republicans/conservatives are insane
2. Republicans/conservative are evil

no, he's a knucklehead...big difference

sincere
basically good hearted
not the sharpest knife in the drawer
old school
simple values
family oriented
motivated by working hard and making a good living
with a dash of sleaze

basically a caricature of the men that built America...

Let's hope all the Angelle dick suckers don't frick this one up. We could have had Vitter but I guess cheating on your wife is worse that being a fricking crook.

No one in their right mind would run for office these days. The political landscape from federal, state to local municipalities is fast heading to one big fricked up reality show and we are the minions witnessing and willing helpers of our own demise. No it didn't happen overnight but it recently has moved to the express lane and is bringing us to quickly towards a slippery slope one that we may find hard to exit from. It is equally split on both sides.

Civility which is the foundation of our society is quickly disappearing and civic virtue is not being taught to anyone at home or schools which in turn means civil discourse has all but disappeared as well. Until we decide we have to live with each other and that compromise on all fronts is progress we are doomed. As people my age remember Tip O Neil and Ronald Reagan went to the mat many times in some bloody brawls but each man respected the other and they both knew our country came first and in the end progress was made and America moved forward.

Angelle came to speak at an LQHBA meeting while running for gov. That fricker yelled at us the whole time. It was part evangelical preacher and part used car salesman. I don't think I've ever heard that many people dog a candidate as the did that guy. Total fraud.

And yes Higgins sounds like a tard. Not the best thing for our states image.

I hear you but the ones that did support him supported no name JBE and not Vitter and that cost Vitter the election.
