If next winter is hotter than this winter will more people believe in "warming"?

Pretty hot this year. I know in the past we got replies like " Well it's cold as hell at my house today so global warming is a myth".

Meanwhile my family in upstate New York and Ohio by the lake are posting pictures in shorts and T-shirts.
This has been the warmest December that I remember.

I'm not sure I totally buy man-made warming, but I think the earth could be getting warmer, and temp averages do back that up.

On an unrelated note, I hope oil prices stay down, I love cheap gas. Downvote if you agree.

Sure, but winter just started yesterday. I'll wait until March to make a judgment.

The last 15 years have been the hottest on record, year after year. Climate Change is real and people need accept it already. This warming trend is not going anywhere anytime soon.

My kids were swimming two days ago in BR.

Last year we had a pretty cold, long winter. They blamed that on AWG. This year it's unseasonably warm. They blame that on AWG.

Nobody has ever denied this. The climate has always changed.

And such a lengthy record of data at that

The climate changes... does mankind influence that? Sure. Would it eventually happen anyway as a natural ebb and flow? Also yes.

In my non-scientific opinion.

I think this year they are blaming it on El Nino...

Some people struggle with anecdotes and fail to realize your entire lifetime is an immaterial blip in the Earth's history.

I'm am so happy there wasn't any left wing nut jobs back in the day of the dinosaur. Earth was so hat that reptiles ruled the world.

It's obvious that before modern man, the climate never changed ever.

Every year was exactly as hot or cold as the one before and no natural phenomenon changed that.

Then modern man came along and all of a sudden the climate is getting hotter (or colder, depending on what you want to tax).

Obviously this means that you are to blame and should have to pay a lot more.

Oh, China and India are the biggest polluters in the world?

Probably because of your white privilege, bigot.

Not going to lie, if the temps stayed like this year round it would be paradise. I can't stand to be cold.
Give me 95* with 85% humidity any day over 40* (especially when it's rainy and cold).

It's a good thing the earth hasn't seen warming trends ever before in its history, otherwise the "humans cause global climate change" people wouldn't have an argument.

Isn't this due to a strong El Nino? Warmer, wetter winter?

Climate changes are real, it's natural and has happened for four billion years. It's only now that people have figured out how to profit from hysteria because of it.

You really think the warmth is due to climate change/global warming?

You do realize that the warming being discussed is a few degrees over a century, right? You don't notice it between different years.

Damn you're dumb.
