Yes... MOST as being the majority of people who live in AP are transplants, who arrived after Katrina. It's not the same since that whole debacle. It's went to shite, in a hurry.

Well Katrina was 15 years ago.

It’s changed a lot that has nothing to do with Katrina

Aren’t most AP people transplants?

That’s a misconception propagated by the mass exodus of EBR into areas like Geismar and some of Prairieville proper (the airline highway areas). Much of AP is actually a ton of lifelong residents and their children who don’t want to leave. These are found in the good ole baw areas such as St. Amant, Sorrento, and some of Galvez. These are the guys who will save AP in times of trouble. These are the ones who threw on the white boots and gassed up their boats to head out and help anyone and everyone in 2016. Watch out for them. They’re good as gold but will frick a man up at the first sign of a threat.

The AP holds a tremendous advantage when the boys from Dville roll from across the riva

I grew up in Donaldsonville. Let me tell you something about them boys - they ain’t shite. They will talk a big game and will kill each other off like it’s nothing but they wouldn’t lift a finger in a parish war. They’d sit back and bitch about how the war isn’t paying attention to their side of the parish while fricking said side up themselves.

Oh. Okay

I’ve never really thought of Ascension Parish as being hard core like you describe it.

There would be a severe divide amongst the diversion canal dwellers with some River Highlanders and Bayou Terracers defecting to joint forces with the Homeport Driver’s in the Battle of Kevin’s on the Bayou. The Livingston Parishioners will sustain a hit when the Maupaus swamper battalion has descent within it’s ranks. Uncles and nephews partake in too much boozing at campsite Manny’s and discover someone tainted the cupcakes in the mess hall with the “Denny special.” Despite a meth fueled barrage and valiant effort, the in-fighting and inbreeding would prove to be to much for the Livingston Parishioners to overcome. The Ascension parishioners would prevail when the brave all-female squadron of oversized SUV driving soccer moms take to the streets and clip the crews crossing the Amite at Hwy 42 and 22.

Have you eaten there lately? LP can have that shithole. I for one won’t fight for it.

Gotcha. Good schools. Ascension Catholic and Dutchtown. I have nieces at DT and they love it but they are always getting in trouble.

That’s not necessarily the case. I know so many people who sent their kids there thinking they would be better off than at the public schools and were sorely disappointed. LOTS of politics, financial issues, and overall disappointment at AC.

There is no airport in the LP. AP has a small one. Air superiority would be the key to this victory.

The Battle of the Amite River/Diversion Canal would be the name of this war.

I know this...None of the AP and LP want to get too amibitious. You may take surrounding territories and may venture into and quickly conquer places like St. Tammany, but don't fall for any bad advice from your Generals who think that makes you unstoppable.

Despite your overwhelming advantage in force size, don't even let your shadow fall on Washington Parish soil. The guerilla tactics employed and the already dug gravel pits (think graves) will be your Waterloo.

We actually have two airports, though one is simply just a runway. It’s near Summerfield Rd if I’m not mistaken.

We have two runways PLUS the boat launches at Fred’s are on AP’s side of the river.

AP stacked
LP fuuuuuucked

Allegedly an old Barry Seal runway.

It's only grass though.
