Last I heard it's:
32 hrs community service, 16 being litter pickup. Tons of MADD classes Drug testing for a few months Substance abuse classes AA classes Interlock in car Drug/alcohol free the whole time And some other fines and classes

Yeah obviously it varies from state to state but here in Texas from what I understand if you blow over twice the legal limit it is going to be very difficult to get out of it without having an interlock device for at least 6 months, even for first time offenders.
Tack on a wreckless driving on top of an extreme DUI? Unless things are a lot different in Louisiana than in Texas I'd be extremely surprised if he is able to get out without having to do the interlock thing for a while.
