I miss the warm weather
I miss the great food.... the gumbo, the jambalaya, the boils
I miss the friendliness and simplicity of southerners
I miss laying by the pool almost year around
I miss tailgating at college football games
I miss the slow paced easy life and the cheap living

I would move out of the deep South in a heartbeat if i were actually living in the south. Texas is more southwest than anything

I have lived all around the country and in a lot "nicer" cities...but no matter where I was living, there was always a part of me that missed the south. I can't say that I will never move out of the south again, but it will take a hell of a lot of money to convince me to move and I will always have my eye on a way to move back home.

Yes it is. But it's still fricking hot. I'm looking to retire in cooler weather. Not sure where but South Louisiana isn't getting any cooler.

Folks in Caldwell Parish wish they lived where there was no jambalaya.

You only have one home.

I live in Austin, which everyone loves to jerkoff to, but I can't wait to move back to South Louisiana after school.

weather is the only thing the south has on most of the north, but that's a pretty huge thing to have.
