I just bought a GSP from Lillington. Sanford, while a nice area, isn’t the south. It felt more Midwest to me. Just because they grow tobacco, doesn’t make them Southern. At least not anymore.

The homeless problem is bad, no question, but what major city doesn't have an issue with homeless people? Drugs and mental illness are everywhere...the NW is more compassionate than many areas so attracts the homeless.

It definitely gets to some people. I like it. After the summers we've had the past few years I'm usually thrilled when the clouds move in.
