It is the roid patch. My wife has an odd blood disease that hospitalized her. They put her on 80 mg of Prednisone a day. They were trying to jump start her marrow into making more red blood cells.
She became a raving lunatic at home. I later found out that she had something in her charts about "Steroid induced psychosis so she blew up at the hospital as well.
She was weaned off of the roids and came back to normal but it took a long time.
Your wife's patch dose is not correct for her size, metabolism, etc. If she lets the Dr. know they can adjust her dosages but it is a crapshoot on whether it should be up or down.
She will also see nothing wrong with her behavior.
