it really depends, most go smoothly, when I had mine it was horrendous, the doc put me under(local,) grabbed my balls and started feeling me up and said uh oh, I had scar tissue paralleling the vas and he said he was going to have do it the conventional way, scalpel, had to do it in the hospital, after a day my sack was as black as an eight ball and I was in immense pain(thank God my next door neighbor was a doctor and he gave me some real pain meds,) I had to meet the doc in his office over the weekend, he told me the reason for the swelling and the blackness was that he had to pull my left nut about halfway down the thigh to get all of the scar tissue off and make the snip, hope this helps

Mine felt like you took a very minor flick to the nuts for about a day and then nothing. Very little actual pain, but you know they’ve done something to your boys.

2 out of 10. Nothing much. The shot is what hurts. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure.
Recovery was just resting. No big deal. Easier than getting wisdom teeth out.

Most painful part was getting the IV placed prior. The nurse was horrible and had to stick me a few times. Just take it easy for a couple days after and you won't have much, if any, discomfort

The procedure, not really
After, dull pain
When your dogs tail pops you 3 days later, ungodly.

The pain that you feel about 5 minutes after getting hit in the nuts, that for a couple days

It doesn’t hurt much but your orgasms will never feel the same afterwards. I don’t know this for a fact, but it’s the only thing keeping me from getting it done.

That shite hurts. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Actual pain for a week and dull aching for about two to three months.

1 or 2
Played cards with friends the night I had mine done. I did have an icepack on my crotch, but cut the grass the next day.
Worse part was we lived in a small town and after I was on the table, fully exposed, the nurse, who was in our church, walked in and said, "Who do we have here?" Then she looked over the screen and said, "Oh, hello Mr. MD."
Funny, the doctor made me sign paperwork saying I knew it would not be reversable. And then the Doctor's Bookkeeper came in a few minutes later and made me sign another copy.
I guess they wanted to be certain I had been told and understood.

Discomfort for a few days. But you’ll never have to pull out again.

Tired of cleaning baby shite off the floor??

I think everyone is different. Personally, I needed four shots to the nutsack before the cutting was somewhat tolerable. The shots burned, the cutting hurt, the tugging on the vas hurt, and walking hurt for two weeks after. I’m 8 months post op and I still accidentally hit the bottom of my left ball and almost get paralyzed with pain for a split second.
On a scale from 1-10, it was a 7 during and immediately after. Starting two days later it was a 2/10.
I’d do it again because splooging all up inside my wife is a blast.

The worst pain is having to get naked and lay on a metal table that’s below freezing in front of two hot nurses.

This was my experience as well. You just need to take it easy for a few days (i.e. avoid physical exertion). Sit in your chair and have the wife or GF bring you beers and stuff.

A lot less when you don’t have to provide child support or a College education with inflation and interest rates to boot…in all seriousness, I do these in the office, the numbing with lidocaine ( 30 gauge needle) push in slowly, and if you can get a block around each vas deferens, it doesn’t hurt at all, but if it’s going to hurt, it’s usually when I clamp the small towel clamp around the vas… it’s harder to get it perfectly numb. Some patients describe is as getting kicked in the nuts, but really never get that while they are in the office, lol…Experienced doc will serve you well….
