Not at all with a good doctor. Dude gave me the go to sleep drug, next thing I know I said when do we get started. He said we are done. I do recall asking the Baylor grad assisting who was shaving my balls if this is what he thought of when he wanted to be a doctor.

Well, my left side about a 2. My right side was a 10. Doc didn't put enough local anesthetic and when he cut my arse came up about a foot.....hurt like a mofo. He tried stopping and putting more but it was not enough. After it was done I felt every stitch being closed up on the right side. The recovery was a breeze compared to the procedure.

1. Had mine done a month ago. As mentioned, a shot in each nut was like a bee sting for a second but that was it. Had it on Thursday, back at work Monday. Came home and laid down the rest of the day and the day after. Rotated frozen peas for 48 hours. Started moving around more and more after 48 hours. Never any discomfort.

I had one Thursday

The procedure itself was basically not a big deal at all. While it hasn't been bad I will admit im sorer than I expected to be today. Stressing that it's still not bad and I have pain pills I could take that I really haven't. Swelling is finally mostly gone today but they are still fairly black and blue

I've been able to take it easy until this afternoon which of course brought some discomfort. Gonna be busy all day tomorrow so I'll prolly take my pain pills as prescribed for it

From what I've gathered the doctor performing it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. They let general surgeons do it but I can't recommend a Urologist for it enough. The Neurologist generally not only does a better job of cauterizing the tubes and making it as painless as possible but also gave me a Valium to take about 30 minutes before the procedure and sent me home with antibiotics and 10 oxycodines in case I needed them

My understanding is that generally a general surgeon won't give any pills in advance or post procedure and only give the antibiotics if an issue develops later on. I much prefer it this way

Ohh, and the urologist said my dick is HUGE

I found it strange that the doctor gave my husband an exam directly in front of my face. If my doc ever invited my husband to view my exam, I’d be livid!

Your fear is much worse. Take the valium. Buy frozen peas. Be good to go in 48 hrs.

Not as much as when you find out your wife is pregnant, a year after the procedure.

It doesn't keep her from getting pregnant, it just changes the color of the baby.

but your orgasms will never feel the same afterwards. I don’t know this for a fact, but it’s the only thing keeping me from getting it done.

I’m gonna need some verification on that one.

2...

one side will hurt (dull pain, like getting kicked in the nuts) a little longer than the other, b/c it will be on the opposite side of the incision site and therefore they have to dig a little longer to find the vas defrens, but really, it's not a big deal...

ice them down with frozen corn or peas for like 2 days, take your ibuprofen, and you are back at it in 3-4 days

Just a fear I have. Don’t know why. Because I have talked to several people who said everything is the same. But what if?

Less than having your discretionary income vacuumed out of your butthole in a sentence that begins with “hey babe guess what”

piece of cake. At least for me. Worst part was ripping the giant grounding pad off my unshaven hamstring. Do what they tell you post op and you’ll be fine. Jockstrap is your friend the first couple weeks working out after. Really nothing to it.

Mine didn't hurt at all. I did what the Dr said to do. Do not do to much to soon even though you feel fine. (IT'S A HUGE TRAP AND YOU WILL REGRET IT.)
