If a wedding is going to get screwed for a last minute game with Carolina, then the marriage needs prayers sent. As do the wedding's guests.

Do you realize that most people's lives don't revolve around LSU football?

Only the ones for people willfully ignorant of Saturdays in the south.

You really think this place fully grasps this concept?

I know one that has lost a couple attendees. Not immediate family though, just friends of the family.

In BR, a town with nothing to do with the exception of LSU sports, it's a big deal. The rest of the world truly gives no shites.

Yeah but this wasn't a previously scheduled home game.

If you are gonna change your plans to attend a close friend or family member's wedding(i'm not talking about that wedding of your second cousin removed that you barely know and just want free food)....that you already RSVP'd to likely weeks or months ago....to go to a football game just announced....you really need to reevaluate your priorities in life.

And if you (the royal you, not you specifically Nursie) are gonna have a wedding/reception and refuse to allow the game on like a spoiled little twat, I feel bad for your future husband.

I wouldn't have gone in the first place because it conflicted with a scheduled LSU game

Most venues in big cities are booked before the schedule is released, so probably not many.

So in the future if you have a daughter and she happens to get married during football season you are just gonna say "sorry sweetie, would love to walk you down the aisle but my Tigers play that day"?

Anyone who gets married on a weekend during fall in the south is an a-hole.
