1295 sqft apartment, pay 1390 a month

That's a decent deal for Dallas. My apartment is 1,305 sq ft and we pay a total of $1890. 2 bedroom

4800 sf now. Will be right at 6k when the renovation (new kitchen, master bedroom and bath) are done.

Actual numbers and not a brag. I partially inherited this monster and bought out the other family members to renovate and sell. The taxes, electricity, etc are killing me. Ready to sell out and buy a sweet 1500sf condo in the Warehouse District.

Brand new apt in Medical District. They are gentrifying the shite out of it now. New things coming up. Still cheap and can easily get on Tollway to get to work in 20 mins. 5 min uber ride to Uptown.

Where are you?

That's mine on the nose. 150 ft2 is my office so really 1,600 ft2 for the house.

I built it a couple of years ago. Good size for my needs.

Damn baw you live in Highland Park????

When we were in Texas not too many years ago, you could get a ~3,500-4,000 sq ft, 4/3.5 with a bonus room on 1/2 acre lot for $350-400K depending how deep into the burbs you were willing to go.

ETA: but as Torch alluded to, they crush you on the back end with property taxes.

I live technically in Carrollton. Bush is block away from me and the DNT is 3 red lights.

Looking to move into Hebron or Frisco soon though.

Friscos blowing up. Their mayor is pretty sharp. I was out that way a couple of months ago for a friend's wedding. Amazing how fast DFW metro is growing right now.

2600 living
~200 covered/screened porch off the master.

5 minutes from downtown Cola where I work, and about two blocks from where the fiance works. Just the two of us.

Still have the craftsman out in Batesburg. That one is 3400 I think. Renovating to sell.

2300 Sq ft heated/cooled with a carport and a nice little brick patio in the fenced in back yard that my dog thinks he owns and terrorizes any squirrel, snake, or bird that wants to try him.

Also, I love how a couple of assholes were downvoting anybody living in a house over 2000 sq ft on the first page.
