1450 heated, not sure under roof, 3/2, me, wife, 2 kids, and the dog. Just big enough for us, no room for extra crap we don't need. Added a 15x30 covered patio, that's where we spend most of our time.

House was 1590 sq ft living. I added a 9'x7' utilty room and closed in my back porch which is 8'x16'. So roughly 1780 now. It's big enough for my family of 4, I just wish I had a little more property.

living: 2578 sq ft. (but i opened up the space under my stairs and sheetrocked and carpeted it, extending my master closet for storage, so another 4x10 space that may or may not be counted)

total area: 3318 sq. ft.

2790 AC and about 3200 under roof with garage

A little bit much for living by myself but that's what maids are for right.

Ditto.

Town home near downtown with sub-5 minute drives to work for both of us. Mortgage is a lot less than our rent used to be for a similar sized place. Can't believe I didn't do this sooner, I was just freaked out about the home buying process I think.

Definitely turning it into a rental when we have a kid though

ETA:

2/2.5
