My parents got mine pierced when I was six weeks old, it's much safer to have it done by a pediatrician.

Used to give a HS friend of mine hell about his all the time back in the late 80's, early 90's. Four of us from high school rented a trailer after graduation. I got drunk and passed out at a party, and 2 of them pierced my ear.
I went to take a shower next morning, pulled the earring out, woke the guy up, and broke his jaw when he admitted doing it.
