I do my own laundry because when I don't, my clothes come out of the dryer looking like I bought them at Baby GAP. Seriously, nothing pisses me off more than shrinking a good shirt.

all the time. i also wash dishes because my wife does not know how to properly load a dishwasher

This is why I iron the clothes. She has no idea that there is a square end and a pointy end for a reason.

I've been doing my own laundry since I was 14 and wouldn't have it any other way. Now folding clothes is a different ballgame. Hate that shite

I thought I was the only one and really overly OCD about how the dishwaser is loaded. It HAS to be done a certain way.

This is why I do the laundry at my house. Clothes HAVE to be folded a certain way.

For me, it's not that I need it to be loaded a certain way, but ffs don't nest the goddamn utensils, or leave dishes in the sink and say the dishwasher is full because you laid the pans flat.

I wash my clothes most of my baby's clothes and leave my wife to do her own. When the dryer is done I fold the clothes and put them away. I go out of town for a week for work I come home and there are baskets of laundry everywhere and my wife has not attempted to fold clothes at all. It pisses me off a 5 minute job now take two fricking hours because she would not take the time to fold them. I got home from being out of town yesterday and was putting dishes away from the dishwasher. I open the door and there are two bowls filled with water because somehow she put them with the bottom facing down, I am still not sure how she managed that one.

Maybe they flipped in the dishwasher. I have cups full of water all the time and I don't load them "bottom facing down"

My wife works a full time job, so we do equal chores around the house. She cooks and does her laundry, I do the dishes and my laundry. Everything else gets split up on a need basis

All the time.

I wash/dry/fold. Not too much on ironing...but that's because I don't like too...but if needed I will.

I'm also the cook. She bakes...but she can't cook on the burners to save her life. I'd rather eat my cooking anyways.

I don't do dishes unless it's the hard to scrub stuff..and she doesn't have the elbow grease to do it.

Lots of you folks will say I'm whipped. I'm not. I'm just very independent...I'd rather it that way. When I get ready to hunt...I go hunt. When I get ready to go fishing...I go fishing. It's easier for me that way...I figure if I was single..I'd be doing all this anyways myself. So what's the difference. She has her chores...I have mine.
