Three kids 2 yrs apart. Our house is crazy sometimes but it is starting to calm down somewhat now that they are 7, 5, and 3.

Just giving free advice. If you decide to have a third, try and find a new mom for it. Trust me.

First 2 are 5 days short of 5 years ... not how "I wanted it" but how God sent them. #3 is 3.5 years after #2 ... that was great for me!

When the factory closes, the workers find a new factory. Get to work on finding an operational one stat. Life is too short to not be making more kids, tell the factory workers to get off their lazy asses and find a new baby factory.

(In this allegory, the factory workers are your sperm. I just wanted to make that clear.)

Get her to hold off a few months.

My youngest 2 are right at 2 years apart and that is the best separation in my opinion.

Your oldest will start to get a little independence right as the little one will require all your attention.

When they get older, they keep each other entertained.

I love that they are 2 years apart. Would not want them closer in age.

Mine are just over 5 years apart. Daughter turned 7 a couple months ago, son turns 2 in a month. Pretty good age difference. She's old enough to help out with him, but still young enough that she will still play in the floor with him. I'm sure that's only going to last a few more years before she thinks she's too big to play with little kid toys, but for now it has been great. And in another 3-4 years, she will be old enough to watch him if my wife and I want to run out for some errands or dinner.

I'm curious as well. I have a 17 month old and one coming Thursday, both boys.

Money, sanity, time, quality of life, quality of marriage, more responsibility, less time for fun, harder to keep up the house/yard
