They have smart people running the business. Restaurant placement is key with them. High traffic safe exits, and consistent food/service. When you are traveling, those things are important.

It's good food at a reasonable price with a family atmosphere. That's not a common trifecta in 2017.

I like Cracker Barrel. As for chains they're among the better ones. For what they serve it's all good.

Noticed that too. People love the decor, it's like shopping at Wholefoods.

Me and my wife went to CB in Dothan Al yesterday and after seeing a lot of cars in the parking lot, take our chance at a seat. Was surprised at how many open tables there were due to a bunch of old war guys sitting at two big tables. Breakfast was good.

He thought he was on the Food Board, and wanted to legally protect himself re any fatal attacks by Food Snobs

Even on the OT I'm a bit surprised by the lack of injuries. Lotta Crackers coming out of the closet in this thread.

Not even gonna lie...I am staying at a hotel in Oxford tonight and just drove 25 miles each way to eat at a cracker barrel. Not much local open on a Sunday night and I just had a taste for a chicken fried steak and some mac-n-cheese.

Gotcha.

I figured he thought he was making a better thread than it actually is. Give us a warning because so many people are going to be zomgz triggered

sure you can...just depends on what time you go and what you order. if you go at any time that is busy, order something that you know is already cooked, like roast beef sammich.
