you say this but in the past like 400 years or so, we have seen one race emerge (the latino/hispanic race)

it doesn't take THAT long

It takes like 3 generations to make a new breed of dog.

Makes sense.

You have to have marked differences to begin the new shift in genotypes though, and that might be where the OP is stuck.

I believe that the explanation can be traced back to the Bible, and Noah's three sons: Ham, Shem, and Japheth. I think I spelled their names correctly, but anyway. If I remember correctly, Ham is the father of the African nation, Japheth is the father of the Caucasian/European nation, and Shem is the father of the Asian nation.

All races/nationalities can be traced to these three men. Native Americans originally came from Asia, so they are the descendants of Shem. Hispanic/Latino peoples of Central and South America are a mixture of Asian/European, being descendants of indigenous Americans and Spanish/Portuguese.

So that's how the races came to be, from the three sons of Noah. Because, Noah and his family were the only surviving humans after the Great Flood, so they repopulated the Earth. I know everyone will not agree with this, but this is what I believe. I hope it helped answer your question!

See race as different breeds, like for dogs.

Instead of humans controlling how a dog looks, consider the environment and hooking up with what you find attractive being what determines what breed your kids will be.

Two things -

One: I'm sure those of you who are calling this thread "dumb" and insinuating that the OP is a moron are the first to also chastise and lambast those that deny evolution. He's trying to understand and you're giving him reason to grow stubborn about it.

Two: I don't like comparing humans to dog breeds as it's commonly accepted that all races of humans are mostly equal save for a few exterior traits such as skin tone, eye lids, nose sizes and hair among other traits. The breed of a dog can have a huge impact on its temperament, intellect, and personality which are not seen as big differences between races.

Dogs have been bred to foster variously different traits (compared to the original "wolf" appearance). Human have predominantly bred within their own race.

Bottlenecking, founder effect.......basic evolution. But, it is understandable that those closer to Homo neanderthalensis branch wouldn't understand.

Well, OP is a dumbass that makes dumb threads.

Um, racial stereotypes definitely exist that cover temperament, intellect, etc.

Nothing about my post does this at all. I approached it at a level anyone can understand. You're talking to an educator here. I know what I'm doing.

I do like comparing them to dog breeds, because that's exactly what ethnicities are. Would it be better if I used horse breeds? Or cow breeds? It's all the same. The OP didn't care about inherited behaviors. They only cared about the external disparate look of humans from across the globe.

Correct. But "being Jewish" is one or the other, or both, or neither. Depends on which rabbi you ask. It's complicated and controversial.

Well dogs are also purposely bread and farmed for specific traits. Also they breed much quicker and come to maturity much quicker than humans do so you see that much quicker. And if we were to start breeding people for specific traits you see more disparity. over longer Time of course.

Migration + weather/climate conditions + enviroment + 80,000 years = different races

Well I know that. It's a good model to understand humans' races because we can see and cause the change in our lifetime. The different races obviously came about over a very long time frame, thousands of generations.

And isolation is the key as well if you have constant intermixing in inbreeding and miscegenation of peoples you're not going to see the disparity you will if say a population is isolated from almost all outside contact ( see the aborigines certain tribes in remote parts the world) the documentary is awesome.

But seriously, humans were cut off from each other for 1000s of years. Evolution does it's thing.
