Could you do something like that if it was 5 feet off the ground? If you don't have a physical disability, you probably could. The fact that it's a thousand feet in the air is all in your head. That guy has managed to compartmentalize the fact that a mistake will kill him instead of giving him a minor bruise.

Not entirely. Something like that would sway back and forth just like a bridge but much worse. That and the wind up there would make it more difficult than doing it five feet off the ground.

These young guys that do this lack the fear element most of us have. These would be the same guys 10,000 years ago that tracked and hunted down large game animals.
