Gonads, although useful for their purpose are no substitute for brains.

Could you do something like that if it was 5 feet off the ground? If you don't have a physical disability, you probably could. The fact that it's a thousand feet in the air is all in your head. That guy has managed to compartmentalize the fact that a mistake will kill him instead of giving him a minor bruise.

There is video of it but it's never been released

Here's a pic of it

As we had to hear russian Freerunner Pavel Kashin fell to his death. He was attempting a to backflip on a wall next to a 16-storey drop and lost his balance after he landed. This photo apparently shows his last jump, photographed by his friends.

And I just looked it was in 2013.

Interesting.

Some of the shite those dudes climb is insane. And then they get to the top and hang off the structures with one fricking hand and shite like that. It's crazy. Cool videos, but holy shite...and I don't even have a fear of heights.

The one with those dudes climbing that unfinished tower/building thing a while back was nuts. They were above the clouds by the time they made it to the top. Then climbed to the tip top of the crane that was up there.

Man my palms are sweating. I could never do that because my sweaty hands would lose their grip and I'd fall long before I got all the way up.

Worked with one of the professional climbers that fell and walked away from it. Granted he was only 200-250' up at the time.

news article on it

Stupidity should never be confused with having large balls.

This is true and now I'm going to incriminate myself. One night in '83, two friends and I climbed the tower on the Christian Life Academy campus all the way to the top. It's no longer there but it was then and super easy to access. Crazy how easy it was.

The tallest treetops were WAY below us and we had a clear view of the Mississippi River Bridge and way beyond. Pretty wild.

And yeah I know... It was a REALLY stupid thing to do. 32 years ago though, and we were young and dumb for sure. No way in HELL I could ever do something like that again. Thank God I lived.

There had been some drinking in our case too. Had quite a buzz but I can tell you that nothing has ever sobered me up like that. Quarter of the way up I felt completely sober.

Not entirely. Something like that would sway back and forth just like a bridge but much worse. That and the wind up there would make it more difficult than doing it five feet off the ground.

Exactly. The "all in your head comment" was amusing.
