That meme is out of date.

The 2 guys in love CAN get married.

and by the way, if its nobody's business who marries who,

then it's nobody's business what a parent is teaching their kids.

I think if you dont make an issue out of things it never gets questioned.
I was on an all black coaches pitch team when I was 6 or 7 and asked my dad why they look different.

Once a kid gets to a certain age they will ask. Hopefully the kid doesn't have closed minded parents.

Bingo. And in a way I think it could eventuallymake us scrutinize and evaluate marriage as a whole. Or at least the dissolution thereof

One thing about gay marriage, its unquestionably two equal parties going in and in divorce two equals parting ways. Not this antiquated thinking where a "head of household" is penalized for the failure of the marriage and/or custodianship of children is granted to one side by default. If true equality is what we all want across the board then surely some of the lopsided terms of divorce as we know it will evolve too right. No more of this "keeping him/her in a lifestyle they're accustomed to" shite huh?

The same way we deal with older folks now who are racist.

Define agree. I don't see how my or your opinion on something as harmless as gay marriage matters when deciding if gays can do what you and I can do.

I think government should not label the contractual arrangement as "marriage" for anyone, but as long as they do, there is no reason to deny people the ability to engage in the activity. I'm married according to the church, and contractually bound to my wife according to the state, as far as I'm concerned.

I like the quote

Maybe it's because you were raised in an all white area. My child (assuming we don't move) will always be around nontraditional families and multiple ethnicities....on a serious note, do you really think she will question it?
