I mean...if you love cruises then one for a honeymoon may suit you. I just wouldn't have a honeymoon be someone's first cruise.

There are plenty cruises that have all inclusive alcohol packages now.

Would you recommend a couple that has never cruised before to go on one for a honeymoon?

I mean I wouldn't do it but I know plenty people that did because it was very affordable for them and they loved it.

If you are still looking at Mexico check out Cabo. Was just there after thanksgiving and stayed at an all inclusive part of the time. Was really nice.

But like Wick said turks and caicos is just beautiful as well.

I'd recommend the Moon Palace golf and spa resort.

Stayed here myself. It was awesome. Course is great. Beach DOES have a seaweed problem. Or it did in 2007-8.

I stayed at Moon Palace back in 2001. The beach there def not the prettiest beach back then. Lots of seaweed and the water not as pretty. It's a massive resort though and the rooms were nice and the pool area is incredible. But if a really pretty beach is important to you....you won't be impressed.

Either sun or moon palace had a topless pool

Not sure about sun or moon, but Aventura Spa had a topless pool and beach. It was also adults only.

I think the only adults only palace resort now is the Sun Resort.

Can anyone tell me how the beach and water are at Excellence Playa Mujeres? That's where I'm headed for my honeymoon in June. Fiancée loves the beach and water so I'm hoping it's not bad.

Lol no, I'm not a moron! I obsessed over it for months before pulling the trigger. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had first hand experience. Everything I've read and seen has looked great.
