Thanks for proving my pint about your bias blinding you to the point you can't look at this matter objectively. This inability of your proves just how feeble minded you are.

Worst part is I'm sure you love to wave the ole' red white & blue and consider yourself a true patriot, conservative, and supporter of the constitution and rule of law. But you're own words in this thread prove you to be either a message board troll at best or a hypocrite at worst.

I like what Waco is doing. It's basically the opposite of what Baltimore did. lock all them hooligans up and let shite chill out before releasing them. Had they just immediately released them it would be the same scene, different location every day

Alright. Let's say you're in NO for a Saints vs. Falcons game. You take your SO to a bar for a drink, both decked out in your Saints gear. While you're inside minding your own business a fight breaks out in the parking lot between some Saints fans & Falcon fans. Someone pulls out a gun, then someone else. The shooting starts and the cops move in and instead of arresting those outside fighting, they go into the bar and arrest everyone wearing either Saints or Falcons gear, charging each of them of a capital felony. You and your SO are hauled before a JP and he puts a bail of one million dollars on each of you and now it's almost a month later and you're both still sitting in jail. You going to like what the New Orleans PD did there as well?

so now motorcycle gangs with a history of violence can be compared to NFL fans at a bar before a game? stretch bro

Because it's not a valid point. If you did something illegal then by all means you should be arrested, but if you were just there then please tell me what right do the police have to arrest you.

Ok, then why are people who don't belong to those clubs still in jail?

You're right, I won't. Because this is the United States of America and not Nazi Germany or the old Soviet Union where people are rounded up wholesale and thrown behind bars when there is not a shred of evidence they did anything wrong.

We have things like the 1st Amendment that guarantees the freedom of assembly, the 4th amendment that guarantees the freedom from unreasonable search and seizure, the 5th amendment that guarantees due process and a right to a grand jury, the 6th amendment that guarantees a speedy trial, and the 8th amendment that guarantees the right against excessive bail. Those are the reasons I'll never accept the wholesale rounding up of people by the police like what happened in Waco. Arrest those who are committing a crime and leave everyone else alone.

But I guess you'll never accept any of that as a valid point.

The vast majority of the people arrested in Waco were not part of any "outlaw motorcycle gang". Most didn't even have criminal records.

Do you realize how fricking stupid that sounds?

1. It's already an established fact the gathering that day in Waco was a monthly COC meeting and not some nefarious meeting of "outlaws" to " plan out future criminal activity".

2. Even if there were 1%er clubs who wanted to "plan out future criminal activity" would they go to a fricking public place, complete with lots of surveillance cameras and civilian witnesses, at it's busiest time and day while the whole place is surrounded by and under observation from 20+ heavily armed local, state, and Federal officers to make those plans? Come on, are you really that stupid?

Yes there are 1%ers in the COC. And to tell you the truth I don't like their influence and dictatorial power they wield there. But that's a subject for another thread. The COC's across the nation are comprised of mostly clubs that are totally law abiding. It's nothing more than a political organization. And while the 1%ers do their criminal thing, it's totally separate and independent of the COC.

ETA: And FYI, not all COC's have a 1%er as their president. For example the COC here in Alabama is headed by a member of the "In Country Vietnam" MC. He's a nice old Vietnam vet who looks exactly like Santa Claus and in fact every Christmas he is in high demand at area malls and the Children's Hospital for that very reason.

You keep it up Darth. I like how you think. Maybe someday the idiots will get to experience some police injustice and them have a change of heart.

This thread has not quite reached the same level of buffoonery as the last one. It is making a valiant effort though.

We need a few more posters coming in saying "but, but , but they were all felons that had gathered to plan out evil deeds."

This is followed by facts being presented, the agenda of the COC being discussed, and links to articles showing that they were not felons, the agenda was political and the constitution has taken multiple kicks to the balls.

It takes a half page for some new poster to come in and say, "But, but, but..."

The discussion has taken enough laps to make the trolls easily distinguishable from the special needs people. Kudos to the trolls. They do not lack persistence. For the rest, bless their heart.

How these trolls keep up their absurd "they're all just trashy, criminal bikers and deserve to sit in jail" bit after it's been shown most of them had no criminal record nor did they do anything illegal that day is beyond me.

Would you be cool if everyone except all Bandidos, Cossacks, and Scimitars were released?
