It's their birthday. They shouldn't have to cater to you. I have food allergies and don't expect family/friends to cater to me. If you don't want to eat it, don't. But don't be a big pussy about it either.

Just ate 30 slices of bacon throughout the day brought to our department for breakfast (amongst other things) as part of rehab week for the PTs and the OTs.

Then I see this thread.

I'm a little pissed off at the restaurant choice to say the least.

This is an excellent opportunity to fat shame your GF's family. Order some water and then tell your GF's mom that she better enjoy her dinner, because it will probably be her last one. Your GF will likely get the message and go puke her pizza up in the bathroom to avoid getting fat, then she will swallow your semen later that night since it is low cal. Win-win for you bro.

Don't be so selfish. Tonight's dinner is not about you. Such it up and go with the flow. A little fried food might loosen you up a bit.

You don't have to eat a whole large pizza by yourself. Eat a few slices and drink water. If you really feel that bad about eating it, go run a mile afterwards.

I'm not usually one to say "stopped reading here"....

But

Why the frick does her parents have to plan HER birthday around you?

Also, they are taking their daughter out for her birthday. You are a footnote. The fact that I'm having to explain this to you just made me realize that you got mad bc they didn't eat like you for their daughters birthday. I don't even.

at least you have some family to go out and eat with.

my mom lives by herself about 2 hours away from me. My younger brother lives up in NYC by himself. My older sister and her family live the nearest to me but they have a decent sized family so they always have a lot going on.

my dad died when I was 18.

just try and enjoy spending time with them. Who cares if you don't eat?

OP, you sound like that guy that counts every almond and measures ketchup to get an exact calorie count.

Life is fluid, go with it. One meal will NOT I repeat will NOT affect progress you've made.

Everything is buttered, fried, covered in cheese, etc. The only relatively healthy options are a few salads that come with cheese, croutons, pepperoni, and other crap. I realize I can get all of that taken off but I don't want to pay ten dollars for a damn salad. I'm a little pissed off at the restaurant choice to say the least.

One pizza isn't going to hurt you in any shape way or form.
