You are making it sound like as long as you live an active lifestyle you can eat what you want and maintain low bodyfat into your forties. This is not true for many people decent genetics or not. How old are you by the way?

29. My metabolism is faster than its ever been. I have to shove whatever I can down my throat to the tune of about 3k calories or more a day just to not lose weight. I know guys in their mid 40s that are the same way.

Like I said, this is not true for many people . I was actually like this in my twenties, was thin and had a hard time losing weight. Now I can drop down to 1500-1800 calories and the weight barely comes off. It is harder to lose when you get to lower bodyfat levels though.

My metabolism wasn't always fast. It was slow as hell in college because all I did was sit around, sleep too much, drink too much, sometimes put in a halfass workout. Now I get up at 6 am and don't stop moving until 10 pm. Crazy what it does for your metabolism. Most people, even hardcore gym goers, live a sedentary lifestyle.

Most people have to live a sedentary lifestyle because of their jobs. Other than doing some cardio in the morning their isn't a lot I could to do to be less sedentary.

5'8" 158 here probably a little under 10% if I had to guess. Trying to drop down to 150 just to see how I look and feel.
