Yeah. Anything that can happen actually does. Sometimes this expresses itself in "dreams".

it wasn't vague at all. I drove over and told them I had the weirdest dream. I was seeing things through their dog's eyes as it was gasping for breath like it was poisoned and then it died.

I asked if his dog was ok and he informed my they just found him dead that morning with a snake bite.

The ones that get to me the most are the ones where I'm talking to my grandfathers, who have both died. Every time I'm stunned to see them and I'm happy beyond belief. Then when they start to fade away and I realize it's just a dream, I start to cry really hard. Then I wake up and I can feel the tears still rolling down my face.

I have that dream once every few months.

I had one of my dad shortly after he passed away.

I don't know if i woke up while experiencing part of the dream but I remember seeing and feeling his presence; I however couldn't move any part of my body at all.

I can't quite explain it

Maybe, but the way I see it there's four explanations: 1)it was a crazy coincidence and you just happen to have that dream that night, 2)you are misremembering and it happened in a slightly less exact way, 3)you have the lamest psychic ability that lets you predict dog deaths, or 4)you're just a sick frick who dreams about dogs dying all the time and this was just a matter of time.

Occam's razor would say 2, but I like the long odds on 4.

But had no way to prove it. I'm not talking about lucid dreaming, I mean something beyond that like a repressed memory or seeing something from another existence.

Damn dude, that's rough. I had similar dreams after my grandpa passed (he was fricking awesome). But as sad as I was the morning after the dream, the saddest part was when I realized I wasn't having the dream anymore. That stung much more.

I actually lost a friend kinda recently and I've been chatting with that a-hole in dreams occasionally, I sincerely hope those dreams never stop. But sad to say I know they will eventually.

Yeap, it's happened a few times. Felt like I lived an entire lifetime, and I was depressed for a few days after. Whose to say that life wasn't as real as this one?

Sad thing is, and I'm kinda thankful for it, you forget the details very quickly. I can't remember anything about these dreams except for the feelings I had for her. Though sometimes I wish I could at least remember her face.

It's similar to when you fall in love with a character in a movie or book. It's usually the sign of a good imagination. Of someone who can disappear into a world of their own creation.

I've had dreams about people that seemed so real to me that it changed the way I viewed them or felt about them from then on. Very difficult to deal with that kinda stuff, IMO.

Like how? Are you violently raping coworkers in your dreams and them having trouble looking them in the eyes? Do you have the one where your boss pees on you and you kind of like it?

Once while on probation I had a dream that I smoked weed that night and the next day was freaking out really bad having to go see my PO. I finally convinced myself it was only a dream but I was freaking for a hot minute.

I had an extremely vivid dream maybe 3 years ago when my lawn guy quit.

I thought I killed him and buried him in my yard. To the day when I'm doing yard work I think I'm going to find him.

I had a dream Saturday that I got an order that nobody in my office thought I'd get. Even forwarded the order, had it processed, and got an acknowledgment with a ship date, and all of it was fictional. I brought it up in a meeting today because I was asked about the status and didn't realize I dreamt it until I was about 3 or 4 sentences in. My wife has been telling me that I've been talking in my sleep lately. So much that she thinks she can understand the gist of my dreams from the context of my replies, shite is starting to freak me out...

I have dreams with loved ones who have passed away where I realize it's a dream and still don't care. I cry tears of joy even though I know it's not real.

I've even told them in the dream "I'm dreaming aren't I?" And I remember vividly one where my paw paw said "yeah, but hey well take it won't we?" With a big smile on his face.....we sure will

My dad passed a little over a year ago.
The dreams with him in them are so realistic. It's literally beyond belive, I can have the best conversations with him.

My kid sister died about a week ago, (liver cancer) and I asked her and my Dad to let me know if everything's fine (via a dream) but so far nothing....

I had a dream that my wife fricked the UPS driver while I was weeding our flowerbeds in the backyard.
