Yes, often but not as much as I used to. For awhile it was concerning me so I started looking into and found out they are called lucid dreams. I started documenting everything that happened in the dream as soon as I woke up. This seemed to increase the lucid dreaming. There was one dream in particular that made me say ok something is going on here and I need to write this stuff down. There was a guy I had never met and he was alone in an apt room. He was very very depressed and I tried to talk to him and help him. I was worried he was going to commit suicide. He told me his name and when I woke up, that was the first thing I wrote down. I started doing google searches because I was really worried about this person. I found an artist/photographer that lived in new york that matched his name. I must have composed 4 or 5 letters to him before finally realizing there was no way for me to do it without coming off as a crazy person. So I did nothing. It still bothers me.

Did he kill himself? Or did you never find out?

No clue. And I haven't searched his name in awhile. I'd have to go back through my dream notes and find his name.

So you had a dream with a random name and found someone with that name in new York, but other than that no connection?

You're kinda confirming what I was saying earlier in this thread.

Try having one of these extraordinarily vivid dreams that your spouse cheated on you. Sucks for them because the whole next day you can't shake that suspicious feeling even if you know it's complete and utter BS.

my girlfriend had a dream like this while we were at LSU...she was just completely pissed at me for a whole damn week and I had no idea why. finally she told me what the deal was.

I once had a dream that I was possessed by a demon. It was way to real. I was outside of some great cathedral, surrounded by monks and priests and others, all who were praying and throwing holy water on me. I was laying on the steps of the cathedral, twisting and turning and growling. My wife woke me up, saying I was kicking around and growling. Scared the hell out of her. Scared the hell out of me.

When I was a teenager I had this pretty intense, recurring dream that I was in combat against the Germans in France. It was with the First Infantry Division because I could see the "Big Red One" patch on fellow soldiers. I had a BAR and was firing on some krauts from a blown-out building in some village...small scale street fighting. I would then have a couple of rounds hit close by my head and that's what made me wake up. My grandmother said it was a memory from a past life. Haven't had that dream in over 20 years.

I sometimes will have some lucid dreams and i'll wake up momentarily and be like frick! I didn't want to stop dreaming, then I'll force myself to go back to sleep and more often than not the dream will continue. It never really seemed weird until I just typed that out lol.

I have sleep paralysis more than anything though. Probably 7-8 times a year. I don't wish that shite on anyone.

But had no way to prove it. I'm not talking about lucid dreaming, I mean something beyond that like a repressed memory or seeing something from another existence.

I had a dream, or at least I think it was, the other night. Saturdays are always a bit of a haze for me, you understand. College football, brown liquor, etc.

Anyways, I get home and see a guy jogging naked in front of my house. I ask him "what the frick are you doing, you freak?!?!?"

He says, "you got home early."

I heard one time that your brain cannot create a person in a dream. Has to be someone you've seen before.

Last night I dreamed I had to shoot a government assasin that had come to eliminate me. I woke up to a sweaty pillow. Need to stop binge watching Nikita on Netflix

The weirdest thing about my dreams are that essentially every single one of them is recurring

I have like a set of 5 or 6 different dreams my mind goes among. Some minor details change but the overall concept of the dream will be the same and fit into one of those 5 or 6
