Have you ever had a dream that felt SO real, you were convinced it happened

But had no way to prove it. I'm not talking about lucid dreaming, I mean something beyond that like a repressed memory or seeing something from another existence.

I've had dreams about people that seemed so real to me that it changed the way I viewed them or felt about them from then on. Very difficult to deal with that kinda stuff, IMO.

I have them often. I talk to people I've never met before that had loved ones in plane crashes.

I've talked to someone who explained to me the alternate choices of my life and where they led.

On and on...

I have these dreams a lot during pregnancy. It's trippy how real they are.. Sometimes it makes me wonder if the other people in the dream had the same one.

I've had dreams of very vivid murders of people I hadn't talked to in years. Far out weird stuff.

Had one where I experienced the death of my neighbor's dog then found out the next day their dog died of a snake bite that night.

I did the chantrix thing to quit smoking awhile back and had to quit because the line between dream and reality was getting too blurred. That stuff makes every dream into a very convincing nightmare and kinda makes you realize how shitty your subconscious can get. Would not suggest.

I always chalk shite like this up to confirmation bias. You can disprove it to yourself with a pretty easy exercise, just write down your dream every morning before you have a chance to see if it was predicting anything. You'll be amazed that you mostly distort your memory of it later once you hear or see something that it might have predicted. It's Nostradamus effect.

Try having one of these extraordinarily vivid dreams that your spouse cheated on you. Sucks for them because the whole next day you can't shake that suspicious feeling even if you know it's complete and utter BS.

I described the dream out loud to my neighbor and their face went white. I asked where their dog went and they told me what happened.

Once a year. Always have a dream that I can only assume is from some super suppressed memory. Is so familiar and real that I always wake up screaming/or laughing lol

Maybe you're right and you've gotta gift of premonition on dog death, but I think the more likely answer is that your neighbor was upset about her dog and found meaning in your vague description of your dream.

Even your recollection of the story is suspect because we all have terrible memory recall. Not saying it didn't happen, just that there's more plausible explanations.

Sorry, not trying to be a dick, just politely skeptical
