My fiancee has 2 yorkies who got along just fine for the first 2 years we had them, then out of nowhere a year ago they began fighting all the time and we couldn't have them near each other. A year later, its really become a burden, to the point where Im willing to give one away bc we have to let one out and put the other in the playpen but the bastards still find a way to fight even that way. Yesterday the one on the outside went to go mess with the one in the playpen and the one in the playpen got his ear and wouldnt let go so I had to stick my hand in there to break up the fight and of course I was bleeding everywhere bc these rats have sharp teeth. We've tried trainers, didnt work, at this point is there anything we can do?

As long as they don't truly harm each other, after enough time, they will grow fond of each other.

One time my dawg Bishop and Q got into it...

Q just wanted to be a DJ but Bishop wanted him in that grimy shite.

It didn't end well.

the problem is they do harm each other, i dont know how far it would get if we let them go at it, but this one almost got his ear ripped off yesterday

Just kick the shite out of them when they fight - they'll eventually figure out that it's unacceptable behavior...or they'll die from internal injuries.

Show them both who the alpha is. Mount them.

Lock them both in a small room for a day. One of them will take care of the problem for you, and you'll have the benefit of knowing the remaining dog is the superior one. Problem solved.

If your dogs bite you hard enough to make you bleed, they aren't trained appropriately

do both get along with other dogs or does one get along with other dogs and not the other? It might get to the point where you just rehome one of them.
