I'm more talking about their casual wear than workout wear. What are some expensive brands out there that the trash have yet to discover/afford?

So you don't care if someone thinks you're trash? Some professions require an amount of class. I feel like you're respected more if people know you're willing to drop a few grand on a weeks worth of clothes.

Based on your concern for being fashionable, I would say you should check out Athleta.

It's just gym clothes. Is this really how people gauge their status?

It was a cheap option that was somewhat classy once upon a time. I would spend $150 on shorts/button up

I wear UA to work out in and under my dress shirts. I like how it feels, and used to have issues with sweating, which have kind of gone away (I think it's mostly a mind over matter anxiety thing, but if placebos do the trick, I'm all for it).

You're joking, right? Who? Who matters that because you're wearing Under Armour clothes will think you're trash?....other than people on this board?

Other than "is Rotisserie Chicken trashy?" this is one of the dumbest fricking "trashy" threads I've ever seen.

Oh, you're trying to emulate HeadyBrosevelt. Just what we need.

I like their polos and underwear. Their charged cotton shirts also make great undershirts.

Plus, I still have every piece of UnderArmour underwear and undershirts I have ever bought, all like brand new.

I have the same 5 pair for over 2 years now and they are still like new. Quite expensive but they are well worth the money. Plus, like another poster mentioned, no swamp azz.

UA is purchased at Dicks and Academy. No one buys it to look classy. It is for working out, comfort, and something to throw on quickly.

The fact that you at one time thought it was "classy" says a lot about you.

If someone thinks I'm trash based on what I wear to non-power meetings/around the office I don't know what to tell you. I always kept a suit on hand in case a taxpayer came up, but I wouldn't mind wearing polo's and khakis for comfort.

Nobody is advocating meeting customers for the first time in UA if you are some high end service industry type. Heck, I had a boss who lent me a suit once, knowing I didn't have/couldn't afford the suit needed for this particular meeting.

Respect is an interesting concept. It has been scientifically proven that what you wear does have an effect on how you act and other factors (enclothed cognition). In certain situations, an expensive power suit is needed, i.e. negotiating a deal with a large/important company. Most of the time though, if it fits and is not out of place, who cares?

For the record, I work at home now a good portion of the time. I call taxpayers while wearing a hoodie and pajama pants.
