I'm not denying that. I came into some money with a lawsuit and get paid monthly plus my regular job. I came from a middle class family

It's a straight up garbage salary. I can't believe common trash would think it's nice.

Their "charged cotton" shirts are the only workout shirts I'll buy, and I love them. They are the most comfortable, fit the best, and they don't make you look like you're trying out for the NFL combine like those compression shirts. I can't stand the compression shirts.

Anyway, they're $25 a piece and I have multiple that have lasted for several years wearing them on a daily basis. Convince me why I shouldn't buy them.

THIS is trashy. Don't worry, no matter what you wear people still think you're trash.

I wear custom-fit Tom Ford workout shirts and shorts and Salvatore Ferragamo running shoes.

Anything else, and you're poor and deserved to be mocked.

This has to be a troll but the guy has 2000+ posts so I can't help but respond

That is about as trashy as it gets. Money from a lawsuit. I assume that settlement/lawsuit has an expiration date in terms of payments, do yourself a favor and stop spending all your money and live on your regular job's income.

Here are some reasons

1- You didn't even earn the money you want people to know you have

You are trying to earn respect by showing off your money. Besides the fact that is ridiculously stupid to begin with, it is trashy as shite to parade around settlement money. It would be like Brian "The White Mamba" Scalabrine parading around his NBA Championship ring despite never playing a minute in the game. It is WTF

2- That money will run out

I can't imagine there being a settlement that pays you in excess of 30-40k/month that doesn't have an expiration unless somebody really fricked up. While the living is good now, it will run out. I promise you, if you don't invest properly and protect your money, you will live like a pauper. If you reinvest that properly, you could easily earn 200k+ inflation adjusted every year once you retire and live like a king with no debt.

For instance, my good friend was a trust fund kid. His father worked as a senior partner at a Big4 consulting firm then was part of the management team at a Fortune 100 company. His stock options alone netted him millions a year. Father got phased out of the company and lost his job. Never prepared for retirement and now works at Costco. Friend lost his trustfund.

3- Money only impresses people who don't have it

People who have money are not "impressed" by people who show their money. There is a difference between looking nice and respectable and being flashy. High class people do the former, new money trash are flashy.

For example, my uncle is CEO/chairman of the board of a billion dollar company, he exclusively buys his expensive Allen Edmonds shoes on sale/clearance. In his words "Why waste my money when I don't have to. Sale shoes look the same as full price"

The onlu underarmor product i've owned is a pair of sports briefs and exercise shorts. They're nice, but expensive.

Trash? No. What it is popular with that I've seen is boys ages about 8 to at least 13. My son and all his friends at the ballpark and school love anything with the Under Armour logo. That and Nike are the two things they all want to wear.

Anyone that gets respect because of their class doesn't need their clothes to say something about them.

Looks like you've fallen short. You sound like an incredibly materialistic dickbag.

Classiest and even richest people I know don't give a shite about what "brand" they wear. They are comfortable with their money and social standing

They do get everything tailored and properly fitted because they like being respectable but that has nothing to do with the brand. They just like looking sharp not like an expensive mannequin

That - to stop joking for a minute - boggles my mind. I'm in Big Consulting (one of the aforementioned firms), and every single partner or managing director I've ever worked with has damn good natural business sense. You just can't get to that level without it. To be exposed to businesses like that for your entire career and then not prepare yourself personally is idiotic. Most of them make very, very good money...but unless they are meeting a client, they dress like poors. It's hilarious. Not quite the same in banking, but most of them are douchebags.
