Interesting tidbit- vast majority of officers in the military have bachelors degrees (or higher).

Funny that you say that.

quote:

Embarrassed, Ford slinked away, but the men followed. When Ford stopped and turned to face them, Ford said the officer waved his hand over his holstered weapon as if he were ready to draw it on Ford.

"I was getting very nervous," Ford said. "I was afraid to reach for my wallet."

A woman working at The Patriot-News booth, who did not want her name published, confirmed Ford's account that the officer followed Ford and yelled that Ford wasn't a Marine.

The woman said the ordeal lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. She described the officer as being antagonistic and said she believed the officer was trying to get Ford to make a move.

The problem is that the military standards are so fricking low that it's comprised primarily of losers.

You do realize that just about all officers minus some warrant officers are college graduates, right? And a lot of enlisted have some type of college if they aren't graduates themselves.

Stolen valor accusations plus a cop being a ja

All that's missing is a pitbull attacking people while riding a Harley. Every keyboard would be covered in splooge.

Why is cop questioning someone for something that isn't illegal. The guy can dress up as a marine all he wants even if he wasnt one.

I guess you've never heard of service academies or ROTC or just about anything else regarding the military

Berating a free American for doing something he is free to do is worse than playing dress up.

Only if the person riding the Harley was a school teacher enjoying his summer off.

Most of the Stolen Valor cases I've seen, the offenders are clearly not right in the head.

So I'd say the douchers yelling at mentally retarded people for wearing clothes are much worse

Also the one video of stolen valor where the marine is chasing a homeless person telling him to take off the uniform in the middle of the streets. Literally taking the last shirt he has off his back, semper fi to that one!

You don't understand... These guys just want to go home to their families. Whenever you see a guy in a uniform with a gun, you should thank them for keeping us safe from troublemakers. The cop would have been justified in shooting him... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
