You must've driven by a Shell station. Those frickers are consistently 40 cents higher per gallon than other stations.

6 months ago you'd have been happier than a jacked off dog to pay 1.99 so pay it and be happy. Enjoy it before it gets back to 3+.

Why? The us has enough production and reserves to supply our country for a long time at a reasonable price

No worries. Oil was down again today on the inventory reports (highest in 80 years). Analysts seem to disagree on whether or not the price has bottomed out. However, budgets are down and production in the US is slowing, so prices will be up before long.

The price of gas takes forever to drop when oil prices fall and rise nearly instantaneously when oil prices rise.

I thought you guys knew that?

That doesn't make fricking sense. Gas could be $20 gallon and the gas is going to last you the same number of days as if it cost you .10 cents a gallon u dipshit.

It makes complete sense. When you out $25 at let's say 1.00 a gallon you get 25 gallons. When you out that same $25 at $2 a gallon you get 12.5 gallons so of course you will burn 12.5 gallons faster than 25 gallons correct?

Get it now?

You must be retarded. I'll make this simple.

There isn't a job that doesn't require that the person/company provides a product/service to another person that is prepared to pay what he/she feels is worth the value you placed on it.

In other words, if you don't like paying for gas, sell your car. Buy a bike.

If you don't like the oil field sector of our country, then you truly are retarded. I'm assuming you work for a company that takes money right?

If less people in the country make money, you make less money. See how that works pumkin? Now go be a good boy and dump the trash before you clock out. Bitch.

frick you, you piece of shite.

Why does the price of gas have to be high for us to be happy?

I love that it is low. It helps my overhead when it is low.

It allows me to do other things I would normally not be able to do, like eat out more and go to more movies, therefore propping up those industries when gas is low.

You are a fricking retard if you think having 3-4 dollar a gallon gas is the only way for the economy to work.

But but but that's how it is in Europe

What caused the gas prices to go from .89-1.09 to 3-4 bucks a gallon anyway? I don't remember

It's all subjective. If you work directly in or in a related O&G field you love high prices. If you work in another field then you hate them. Everyone wants something that will benefit them. I understand both sides. I want high prices bc my company, while not directly, will only benefit from them.

There have been enough state budget cuts in the last few years, a lull in O&G won't help the budget.

I'm not sure why people are mad though, surely nobody believed the gas prices would stay low indefinitely.

Well, technically, yeah.

Technically? No one ever wants to strike. This isn't a ploy to get out of work.
