I need it to go back up. It's going to kill my bonus this quarter if it doesn't.

Damn people bitch about the most insignificant numbers. Gas rises a quarter of a penny and everyone loses their shite.

I heard on the news it's supposed to climb a total of 50 cents.

Without a doubt. I saw one place go up 20 cents and another place that usually has some of the cheapest gas in town go up 15 cents the second day of the strike.

Nearly every gas station I drive by each day has gone up between 15-22 cents in the last 3 days.

Thanks, Obama!

has the switch to "summer blend" begun already?

how much is the strike impacting it?

I thought I saw a report not too long ago the Saudis were going to fight to keep oil prices low

and yes... a quarter jump in 2 days is big... esp. since I put about 18 gallons in my truck today (I got it at 1.89... though I missed out on getting it at 1.75)... that 14 cent change meant an extra 2.52 when I'm already on quite a tight budget

believe me... I don't claim to be an OT baller... I'm a penny pincher to the core

ETA: but yes I am still celebrating that I'm paying roughly half of what I was paying this time last year... or even 6-8 months ago

Well the walmart with usually the cheapest prices in town that dropped almost every day steadily since the fall went up 15 cents overnight when the strike started. Hell of a coincidence...

Oil has went up steadily for the past week I believe

But when oil loses 10 dollars over a week gas decreases maybe 2 cents and the excuse is it takes a month for gas prices to react to current oil prices...but it never fails that when oil shoots up in one day gas follows within hours.

I love the people that complain about gas prices but buy bottled water or some other trivial thing. I appreciate lower gas prices but damn, keep in mind it propels a 4000lb object at 50+mph. (1st world problems)

We have all had to accept money issues , why should we fricking have to give in to a bunch of people striking....? Fire their asses... They all over paid anyways ..I mean for them to stand on their own, we gotta pay more at the pump? frick, u might as well call it govt assistance...food stamps, free health care and now paying for other people to make the money I give them at the pump to "keep" their jobs? Im sorry I got into a profession that doesnt rely on others to help me...this is complete bs
