I saw nothing in the video or comments that said she ate half. She claimed she didn't take a single bite. I've said multiple times throughout the thread that if she ate then she should pay.

But no one has shown anything saying she ate even a single bite.

She's wants to talk to a lawyer because they asked her to pay for the food that she ate. What classless scum does that?

If her order was wrong...let the restaurant correct their mistake. It's not a legal matter.

It's like people forget how to adult sometimes.

They eat the entire meal and then complain.

They order multiple appetizers, get full on them, and then tell you that the entree tastes terrible and that they don't want to pay for it.

You look at their empty plates as they tell you how bad it was. When you point to the empty plates they say, "Well, my husband ate mine. But I couldn't touch it it was so bad."

No, they want to make this a racial discrimination issue, thus the lawyer.

There is such a thing as a flat grill...
Soo... it's grilled... but it looks sautéed.
And even if the shrimp are put on a lined grill, I can promise the shrimp are seasoned the same.

So... as long as they weren't fried, baked, broiled, or boiled , I think anyone is fine.

It's like saying you like penne pasta but not bowtie.. same nutritional components

True

But it's the same OT that thinks businesses are always trying to screw them and insist the customer is always right.

I only argued in her favor bc I saw nothing saying she ate the food and I think it's crazy a restaurant would claim grilled shrimp is the same as sautéed shrimp. Anyone here who watches their diet knows this is bs.

But they wanted her to pay 50% of the price for the food she didn't eat to cover business cost. I agree that the business should offer to prepare something else for her - very quickly - and charge her for the new food.

How is it discrimination to ask restaurant patrons to pay for their meal? Or to call law enforcement when they act like petulant children?

If she didn't touch the food and didn't take a bite I would be on her side of the disagreement. However frick her for videoing and blowing it out of proportion.

I don't agree with the lady trying to grab her phone, I think they were both in the wrong and Natilie should just never go back.

Also, she mentioned that she wrote a review on Willies page and Willies wrote a response.

Has anyone seen this exchange?

Baton Rouge didn't seem to be a hotbed for race baiting agitators until recently. That kind of shite happens more in the Midwest. It's a shame to see it in BR.

This isn't a race issue.

Agreed. She says she refused the order when they put it in front of her and didn't eat a bite. I've seen nothing stating she ate any of the food. If she ate it, she pays. If she didn't, she's right.

Manager handled it poorly grabbing her phone. Customer handled it poorly for making such a public incident out of it. I think they are both wrong.

The stupidity of anyone acting like a policy or procedure is something a business should be required to post or produce on demand for a customer for them to review is just that. Stupid.

Whether policies and procedures are for back end staff or employees only, or whether they are printed on menus. Anything provided to the customer is done so at the choice of the owner. NOT the customer. Customers can't demand or bark orders at staff and causing a scene is an invitation for a business owner or manager to invoke a policy of removing you from said business.

Ask all you like. They aren't required to say anything to you beforehand.

Fleur De Lis doesn't tell you cash only. They may have it posted but I've never seen it. I can assure you I'm not going to "demand," to see a policy because I don't like it...and I wouldn't expect them to. Even if I asked.

Because that's not how shite in the real world works. Anyone disagreeing is confused.
