I have a friend that is a Freemason. He will tell me everything he did in the navy, like blowing up pirates in somalia without even contacting their vessel. Basically just shooting whomever is out there. But, he will tell me nothing about Freemasons.

That's because he has sworn an oath that if he tells any of the Freemason "secrets" then he will have his throat cut across, the tongue torn out by the root and buried in the sea at low water or a cable's length from the shore where the tide regularly ebbs and flows twice in 24 hours.

My stepdad was a Mason. I remember when he was in the indoctrination process. We had to go to a friend's house, who was a Mason, and my stepdad had to study for hours on end. We went about twice a week for a couple of months before he finished the process.
All sorts of info like the exact measurements of the tabernacle. Stuff about the Ark of the Covenant and whatnot.
