One is not like the other.

Yea, what is crazy is that him paying $350K to kill one elephant can actually generate money to save many elephants.

Those big animals are destroying the earth with their large volume methane gas farts. He is an environmentalist and should be applauded.

I don't get what the sport is in shooting something big and slow like an elephant.

Is there any skill involved? I mean how can you miss?

I haven't hunted in years. I grew up doing so. Not my thing anymore either. I plan to take my children in a few years. They've both expressed an interest. The harsh realities of the kill, and eating it with gravy is in my opinion something that gives you a greater respect for guns and life.

That money doesn't feed anyone. It goes into Jacob Zuma's personal play fund so he can buy another opulent home. Africa is so corrupt.

which is the only way most wild game should be eaten. Most of it sucks. None of it compares to a good slab of farm raised beef. None.

Never understood the craze over JJ. It is a glorified ham sandwhich. I can buy a loaf of bread, some lettuce, ham and cheese, and bam a jimmy johns sub

"trophy hunting" isn't my thing and never will.

I don't get the appeal of it.

If he did all the work by not paying anyone, stalked the animal, and used the meat and tusks then I'm for it. This just looks like it was play time for him.

Absolutely. There would be a hell of a lot more vegetarians if people had to kill what they eat all the time.
